Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden, PC (baptised 21 March – 18 April ) was an English lawyer, judge and Whig politician who was first to hold the title of Earl Camden. As a lawyer and judge he was a leading proponent of civil liberties, championing the rights of the jury, and limiting the powers of the State in leading cases such as Alma mater: Kings College, Cambridge. William Pitt the Younger (28 May – 23 January ) was a prominent British Tory statesman of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. He became the youngest Prime Minister of Great Britain in at the age of 24 and the first Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland as of January He left office in March , but Parents: William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, Hester .

Like other Victorian biographers, the grandson of the Earl of Shelburne included extracts of letters and other documents in his biography of this politician/statesman of the late 18th century and among the items he included were entries from the diary of Shelburne's first wife, Sophia. The biography says little about her and few published sources mention her at all. A Most Unsuitable Earl (Marriage by Scandal Book 2) Kindle Edition The best part of this story is the romance that unexpectedly developed between the reluctant couple. That was sweet to read. Another nice part of the story is the humor. I had to chuckle or laugh many times. Thirdly, intimacy was an important topic in this story, which was fine/5().
